The Investment Advisor is responsible for all aspects of the advisor’s client relationships.
This role requires a deep understanding of investment strategies, portfolio construction,and client relationship management. In addition, the Investment Advisor may serve ina secondary advisor capacity for certain larger firm relationships.
- Serve as the primary strategic adviser for assigned client relationships, ensuring alignment with their financial goals and values.
- Provide exceptional service for client relationships, including utilizing investment,operational, and tax subject matter experts at the firm, as appropriate.
- Construct Investment Policy Statements for clients designed to establish desired,goals, outcomes, asset allocation parameters, and other unique client objectives.
- Implementation of strategic and thematic positioning in client portfolios.
- Enter trades/initiate rebalancing within Operose trading platform.
- Prepare and/or review client meeting materials and deliverables.
- Collaborate with client’s tax and legal advisors to deliver comprehensive clientsolutions.
- Schedule and conduct periodic in person and/or virtual client investmentreviews.
- Support creation of investment content
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to support firm growth.
- Bachelor’s degree with strong academic credentials and a record of achievement; CFA designation preferred
- 5+ years applicable work experience
- Series 65, or other required licensing as determined by the Operose CCO
- Strong knowledge of investments and portfolio construction
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Experience with Envestnet/Tamarac preferred, but not required
- Excellent relationship building skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues and vendors
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
