The Tax Professional role is an on-site position based in Milwaukee, WI. In this role, the Tax Professional reviews financial documents, prepares individual and small business tax returns, and ensures compliance with current tax regulations. Daily responsibilities include conducting client interviews, analyzing tax situations, identifying deductions and credits, and providing guidance on tax planning strategies. The Tax Professional will maintain accurate records, respond to client questions, and collaborate with team members to deliver timely, high-quality service.

• Strong skills in Tax Preparation and Tax for individual and small business clients
• Knowledge of Tax Planning and Tax Law to provide compliant and strategic guidance
• Foundational understanding of Finance to interpret financial statements and documents
• Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to work with confidential information
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with a client-focused mindset
• Experience with tax preparation software and relevant office applications
• Relevant certification (e.g., Enrolled Agent) or progress toward professional credentials is beneficial
• Prior experience in tax or accounting is preferred, especially in a client service environment
