Ovation Communities is a mission-driven senior living organization serving older adults through skilled nursing, assisted living, independent living, memory care, and adult day services. More than simply providing care, Ovation is committed to creating an environment where residents receive exceptional service and employees feel respected, supported, and empowered to do their best work.
The organization is entering an important period of transformation under new leadership. Significant investments are being made to strengthen operations, improve accountability, modernize systems, and build an organizational culture centered on service, communication, and continuous improvement. The Vice President of Finance & Accounting will play a central leadership role in helping shape that future.
Opportunity SnapshotOvation Communities is creating the Vice President of Finance & Accounting role to elevate the strategic impact of the Finance function and provide stronger financial insight to the President, Board, and organizational leaders.
Reporting directly to the President, this leader will oversee financial planning and analysis, accounting, budgeting and forecasting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, billing and revenue cycle, treasury and cash management, purchasing, financial reporting, audit, and internal controls.
The successful candidate will inherit a cohesive and capable Finance team and will build on that foundation by bringing greater forward-looking analysis, financial discipline, and strategic perspective to organizational decision-making. This individual must be equally comfortable in the details and at the strategic level—able to identify risks and inconsistencies, challenge assumptions, recognize opportunities, and translate complex financial information into clear business insight.
The Vice President will serve as a trusted advisor to the President and senior leadership team and will regularly present financial performance, budgets, forecasts, audit results, and other financial matters to the Board. This is a highly visible opportunity for a healthcare finance executive who enjoys getting the numbers right while helping shape what comes next.
