Nutritionist, Non-RD; Chronic Care

Job Responsibilities

• Evaluate the nutritional status of patients, including OB, diabetic, weight control, and hypertensive patients.
• Provide individual counseling to clinic patients.
• Participate in developing patient care plans and provide appropriate follow-up.
• Document counseling sessions and patient progress.
• Assist with and participate in the preparation and delivery of nutrition education materials and activities.

• Minimum of bachelor's degree in Dietetics required.
• One to two years of experience, preferably in maternal and child nutrition.
• Ability to communicate effectively with individuals and groups.
• Ability to relate well to people from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
• Excellent oral, written, and electronic communication skills.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
