Overview

Senior Associate - US Recruitment @ Pride Health — Pride Health is hiring a phlebotomist to support our client’s medical facility based in Milwaukee, WI. This is a 3-month assignment with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity.

$24.00/hr - $27.00/hr

• Embeds, cuts, stains and perform other tasks required to process tissue in the Immunohistochemistry laboratory.
• Performs accurate gross description on tissue samples.
• Performs quality control procedures and maintains accurate records.
• Operates instruments/equipment according to procedures; identifies problems.
• Meets turnaround time and productivity standards; communicates errors/discrepancies and assists in resolution.
• Records, transcribes, and maintains records of patient test results per protocol.
• Assists other personnel with identifying and analyzing inconsistent and abnormal results.
• Reviews accuracy and completes results before release in the Laboratory Information System.
• Completes routine and STAT testing within turnaround time guidelines.

• Associate degree in medical technology, chemistry, biology, or related life science.
• Formal training in Histology from an accredited program (720 hours).
• State licensure where applicable (CA, FL, NY require licensing).
• Meets CLIA personnel standard criteria.
• Skills in microtomy, grossing, processing, embedding, cutting and routine special staining techniques.
• 5-7 years of experience.
