St. Croix Health is seeking a full-time (1.0 FTE) Physical Therapist to join our compassionate team of professionals. Successful candidates must share our vision and be committed to providing services that help our patients enjoy a higher quality of life. This position would float between our Unity (Balsam Lake) and Frederic Clinics. We welcome applications from recent graduates who are eager to grow and make a positive impact in the lives of others.
Job SummaryThis position is responsible for the evaluation and treatment of patients of all ages presenting with a broad range of impairments and functional limitations. The physical therapist is responsible for delivering evidence-informed treatments and objectively measuring the outcomes of treatment. This position provides quality patient care, assisting with in-servicing rehab staff, other medical center departments, and the community on wellness and rehabilitation topics.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Stay current on physical therapy related practices, wellness and rehabilitation topics
- Deliver quality patient care
- Complete required charting & documentation responsibilities in a timely manner
- Maintain and foster relationships with referral sources and patients.
- Oversee work performed by Physical Therapist Assistants as outlined in the state statute
- Partner with Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure completeness of PT plan of care (POC)
- Review charting activities and provide feedback
- Participate in inter-departmental, committee-based, and community educational outreach on topics related to wellness, sports performance, and physical rehabilitation
- Assist Manager of Rehab Services with program development in specific areas of practice
- Graduate of approved physical therapy school
- Licensed by the State of Wisconsin and/or Minnesota
- Current CPR/AED certification
- 2 plus years experience preferred

- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at time
