Caregiver— Adult Family Home Full-Time | Day Shift (8am - 8pm) and Night Shift (8pm - 8am) Milwaukee, WI
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated CBRF Caregiver to join our team at Trinity Care, an adult family home supporting individuals with autism, schizophrenia, and other behavioral health challenges. In this rewarding role, you will make a meaningful impact by assisting residents with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
- MUST POSSESS CBRF Certifications (Medication Administration, First Aid, Fire Safety, Standard Precautions)
- 2+ Prior experience working with behaviorally challenged individuals preferred (autism, schizophrenia)
- Ability to perform housekeeping tasks and prepare simple meals
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Physical ability to walk with residents and participate in activities
- Compassionate, patient, respectful, and ethical demeanor
- Reliable and punctual with the ability to work 12-hour shifts (8AM-8PM or 8PM-8AM)
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Redirect and support residents with challenging behaviors in a respectful manner
- Assist residents with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing
- Prepare and serve meals and snacks according to dietary needs
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Administer and document medications accurately (as authorized)
- Provide companionship and engage residents in meaningful activities
- Accompany residents on errands, shopping trips, and community outings
