Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR tech) for a 13-week travel assignment in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. • Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
• Operate imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy, CT, and ultrasound, to guide procedures
• Scrub in for sterile procedures, pass instruments, and maintain a sterile field
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and procedural details
• Administer contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions
• Ensure proper radiation safety measures for patients, staff, and self
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, ensuring readiness for procedures
• Manage and restock procedural supplies (catheters, guide wires, contrast agents)
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other team members to provide seamless care
• Follow all infection control, safety, and regulatory protocols
• Provide patient education before, during, and after procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned to support IR lab operations
• Adhere to hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards

• Required: One year’s recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
• Required: Valid ARRT, or RCIS/RCES Certification in compliance with state regulations
• Required: Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Preferred: Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Preferred: Valid Radiologic Technologist license in compliance within state regulations
• Preferred: PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certification
• Notes: Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position

• Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English; proficient in PC skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

• Must be able to remain stationary, move equipment (50-100 lbs), push, pull, and bend
• Ability to work with a variety of personnel and maintain professionalism
• Ability to cope with frequent contact with the public and work under pressure
• Ability to work under close supervision occasionally and handle irregular schedules
• Visual acuity and effective communication abilities
