Overview

Location:

US: WI: MILWAUKEE (Froedtert Hospital facility).

Job type:
Full time, 1.00 FTE. Shift: Monday to Friday 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. (Shift 2, 40 hours per week). On-site position. Sign‑on bonus: $10,000 + 4.50/hr shift differential + 2.25/hr second‑shift differential.

Responsibilities

Performs MRI studies under the direction of a radiologist. Interacts with imaging staff, nursing, physicians, patients and visitors. Acts as a resource for technical and safety related needs. Demonstrates competence according to guidelines and prescribed protocols. Operates and prepares MRI scanner and MRI‑specific equipment, maintains images and archives associated with patient data.

Experience & Education
  • Minimum of 1 year clinical experience preferred. Clinical student experience may be considered in lieu of one year of current clinical experience.
  • Graduate of a JRCERT, JRCMNT, or JRCDMS approved program required.
  • 2–4 years of college/university coursework and/or an undergraduate degree in a healthcare related field preferred.
Training
  • MRI‑specific training will occur in department.
  • Credits required to take MRI Advanced Certification exam are employee responsibility.
  • Complete Level II MR Safety training.
Licensure & Certification
  • Primary credential through ARDMS, ARRT, ARMRIT or NMTCB required.
  • Advanced certification through ARMRIT or ARRT(MR) required within 18 months of hire.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for Health Care Provider (BLS) required within 90 days of hire date.
