Pediatric Evaluation Psychologist – Child Development, Autism, Assistant Professor

• Provide child psychology services with a diagnostic focus for children with attention concerns, learning issues, autism, anxiety, language disorders, intellectual disabilities, and related concerns
• Interface and consult with school personnel as needed
• Conduct thorough developmental, academic, cognitive, social, behavioral, and emotional evaluations for children and adolescents
• Work with an interdisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, speech and language pathologists, occupational therapy providers, and others
• Help families understand children’s strengths, weaknesses, and diagnostic profiles
• Develop personalized patient recommendations
• Provide evidence-based individual, family, or group treatment for patients with anxiety, ADHD, and developmental delays
• Provide psychological assessment, testing, and individual and group psychotherapy
• Teach psychology learners, residents, and medical students
• Provide dedicated supervision when available
• Participate in clinical research and teaching opportunities
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Chair or Chair-Designate

• PhD or PsyD in an APA approved clinical psychology, school psychology, neuropsychology program, or appropriate subspecialty program
• Licensed, or eligible to be licensed, as a Clinical Psychologist in the State of Wisconsin
• Clinical experience assessing and treating children
• Specialized training, including fellowship in child psychology, preferred
• Board certified / board eligible physician

Demonstrates expertise in child psychology, including assessment and treatment of children with various psychological concerns. Proficient in conducting evaluations, developing personalized recommendations, and providing evidence-based therapy while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
