Personal Care Worker; PCW Spanish Speaker

As a Federally and State Licensed agency, PHCS provides comprehensive support to our clients, and we are seeking a dedicated professional who wants a fulfilling career in senior care. This role is ideal for a caregiver who excels at everyday support, providing comfort, and building trusting relationships with those they serve.

Schedule: M-F (9:00am - 12:30pm), every other weekend Sa-Su (9am - 12:30pm) - there is an option to pick up more clients if you want more hours

• Provide hands-on personal care, including assistance with bathing, personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, and dressing.
• Assist clients with basic mobility, ambulation, and safe, standard transfers.
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals and snacks according to the client’s dietary needs.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean, safe, and healthy home environment.
• Report all observations and any changes in a client’s condition to the RN Case Manager.
• Accurately document all care and observations from your visit using our Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) system.

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Personal Care Worker (PCW) or similar role is required.
• Able to speak Spanish. The client you will be assisting speaks Spanish.
• Previous experience in a home health care setting.
• A valid driver’s license and a reliable, insured vehicle to travel between client homes in Metro Milwaukee.
• Must have a positive attitude, be a team player, and be open to taking direction.
• Must be reliable, on-time, and able to keep a consistent schedule.
• Able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.

• Experience caring for seniors or clients with conditions such as dementia.
• A solid foundation in basic PCW skills and a willingness to learn new care techniques.
