American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a community hospital setting seeing general CT, stroke, and oncology patients across young adult to geriatric populations.
Details- Level IV Trauma Center, Level III NICU, and Advance Comprehensive Stroke Center teaching hospital with 228 beds
- 2 CT suites with an average daily census of around 100 patients
- Patient population ranges from young adults to geriatrics, including general CT, stroke, and oncology cases
- Unit equipment includes Cannon 80 Slice and GE 40 Slice CT scanners
- EMR: EPIC, Med Dispensing:
Pyxis, PACS:
Mc Kesson - 8-hour day shifts, Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM, 40 hours per week
- No floating required
- No on-call requirements
- Weekend rotation dependent on requisition
- Minimum 2 years of CT experience required
- BLS and ARRT certification required
- Wisconsin license required if applicable
- Experience with general CT, stroke, and oncology patient types in a community hospital setting required
- EPIC EMR experience preferred
- Candidate's middle name or initial, DOB, and last 4 of SSN required for consideration
- Minimum 1 professional reference dated within the past year, from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN
- Support on the unit includes a transporter, lead tech, 3 total CT techs per shift, daytime manager, and 24/7 RT support
- Radiologist reads on-site during the day and offsite at night
- Rapid Response/Code Team available on-site
- Orientation includes NEO plus 2-3 shifts of department orientation
- Lead tech creates the schedule; RTO approval goes through the manager
- If a holiday falls on a regularly scheduled workday, the employee will work it
- Scrubs must be any solid professional color with no graphics, logos, or designs
- Free parking available in designated employee areas
- First-time travelers considered if they have trauma experience
- Former employees of the health system or its subsidiaries must be separated for at least 12 months before being eligible for travel assignments
- No radius rules apply; local candidates accepted at the same rate
