Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Technologist

Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of experience required

• First-time travelers accepted with trauma experience

• Work with general CT, strokes, and oncology patient populations typically ranging from young adults to geriatrics

• 3 total CT Techs per shift with support from a transporter, lead tech, and radiologist on site during the day with offsite reading at night

• Charting system: EPIC EMR

• Medication dispensing:
Pyxis

• PACS:
Mc Kesson

• Unit equipment:
Cannon 80 Slice and GE 40 Slice

• No floating required

• Orientation includes NEO and 2-3 shifts of department orientation

• Weekend rotation dependent on requisition

• RTO approval goes through manager

• No on-call responsibilities

• Holiday expectations: will work if on regularly scheduled days

• Schedule created by lead tech

• Scrub color: any solid color, professional - no graphics, logos, or designs

• Free parking in designated employee areas

• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT, Wisconsin License

Facility:

This facility is a 228-bed teaching hospital located in Milwaukee, WI, operating as a Level IV Trauma Center, Level III NICU, and Advanced Comprehensive Stroke Center. The CT department features 2 CT suites with an average daily census of around 100 patients. The facility offers comprehensive support including a Rapid Response/Code Team and Respiratory Therapy available 24/7, with a radiologist on site during the day and offsite reading available at night.
