Role Overview

The Front Desk Agent is responsible for the daily operation of the Eagle Ridge and Superior Ridge Resort’s front desk. This role serves as our guests’ first point of contact and coordinates all aspects of their accommodation.

Duties | Responsibilities
  • Assist guests in a friendly, proactive, and efficient manner with appropriate follow-up
  • Perform all check-in and check-out tasks.
  • Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities.
  • Maintain updated records of bookings and payments.
  • Respond to clients’ complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully furnished to accommodate guests’ needs.
  • Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees, like wedding guests.
  • Know all essential aspects of our resort operations.
  • Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate.
  • Assist ticket and central reservations teams as needed.
  • Assist housekeeping with quality control as needed.
  • Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High school qualification or equivalent
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Well-presented and professional appearance
  • Previous hospitality experience would be advantageous.
  • Familiarity with telephone, email, and point-of-sale software is a plus.
  • Must have flexible hours.
