Event Manager

Saz's Hospitality Group is seeking an Event Manager to plan and execute catered events, festivals, and special functions across our Milwaukee locations. In this role, you'll manage events from first inquiry through post-event follow-up, creating detailed timelines, floor plans, and staffing plans. You'll partner closely with culinary and operations teams, oversee on-site setup and service, and lead event staff to deliver warm Midwestern hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute catered events, festivals, and private functions
• Serve as primary contact for clients from inquiry through post-event follow-up
• Develop event timelines, floor plans, and staffing plans
• Partner with culinary and operations teams to align menus, logistics, and quality standards
• Oversee on-site event setup, service, and breakdown to ensure an exceptional guest experience
• Manage event budgets, proposals, and accurate billing
• Train, schedule, and lead event staff to deliver consistent hospitality
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing requirements
• Resolve guest issues quickly while maintaining Saz's service standards
• Track event performance, feedback, and opportunities for improvement
