The Pfister Hotel is seeking a dynamic Night Manager to oversee overnight operations and provide exceptional guest experiences. You will manage hotel operations, address guest concerns, and ensure a safe, seamless, and memorable experience for both guests and team members. Built in 1893, The Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee has been a hotel icon for over 130 years. As one of the best hotels in Milwaukee and the Midwest, we continue to celebrate a grand tradition of gracious service and impeccable style.

The Pfister Hotel has received AAA Four Diamond hotel status for over 50 consecutive years.

What you will be doing

• Take charge of hotel operations during evening and overnight shifts, serving as the Manager on Duty and ensuring a seamless guest experience.
• Create memorable guest experiences by resolving concerns quickly, professionally, and with a hospitality-first mindset.
• Lead with confidence during emergencies and unexpected situations, making sound decisions that protect guests, team members, and hotel assets.
• Navigate complex guest and team member situations with professionalism, diplomacy, and strong problem-solving skills.
• Champion hotel quality standards through nightly inspections of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.

Position Requirements

• Previous hotel experience required; supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to professionally resolve guest concerns and create positive experiences.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proven problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team, while maintaining professionalism and accountability.
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands.
• Comfort using hotel technology, computers, and communication systems.
