Minimum Education Requirement- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field
Strong background in workforce development, employee coaching or advising; or social services/community-based work experience; or education/student support/student services experience.
Job SummaryThis role provides direct, one-on-one career coaching and support to teammates, helping them explore career paths, overcome barriers, and connect to growth opportunities within the organization. Additionally, this role works closely with internal departments and external partners to guide teammates through training, upskilling, and career development resources that align with their goals and the organization’s workforce needs.
LocationWe are hiring 3 Teammate Success Coaches; one for each of the following Milwaukee, WI locations-
- Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center
- Aurora Sinai Medical Center
- Aurora West Allis Medical Center
Typically requires 2 years of experience in coordinating community or corporate training programs, showing demonstrated success in Workforce Development, Human Resources, public and private entities, schools and/or churches.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Needed For Success- Working knowledge of career development principles, coaching practices, and workforce development resources
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to support teammates in identifying career goals and navigating available training, education, and development pathways
- Organizational and time management skills, including the ability to manage a caseload and maintain accurate records
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related technology tools, with the ability to learn new systems as needed
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to assess needs and connect individuals to appropriate resources
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, contributing to a supportive and team-oriented coaching environment
- Provides one-on-one coaching to teammates, supporting career exploration, goal setting, and development planning
- Assists teammates in navigating internal training, educational programs, and available resources to support their career goals
- Maintains an active coaching caseload, ensuring timely and responsive support for assigned teammates
- Collaborates with internal departments and external partners to connect teammates with relevant training, certification, or advancement pathways
- Supports onboarding and orientation for teammates entering workforce development programs or upskilling initiatives
- Tracks coaching interactions, outcomes, and goals, contributing to data reporting and continuous improvement
- Identifies and helps address barriers to career mobility, including connection to wraparound support services as needed
- Promotes a culture of growth and opportunity, fostering inclusive support for teammates from diverse backgrounds
