Job Title: Workday People Analytics & Reporting Specialist/HRIS

Job Type: Full-Time Contract

Duration: 6 Months

Position Overview

Client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Workday People Analytics & Reporting Specialist to join HR Technology team on a six-month contractual assignment in Milwaukee, WI. This role will support strategic HR decision-making by developing and maintaining workforce analytics dashboards, reports, and insights within the Workday ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience configuring Workday dashboards, Discovery Boards, Prism Analytics, and People Analytics tools. You will partner closely with HR leaders, IT teams, and key business stakeholders to ensure workforce data is accurate, secure, and translated into meaningful insights that drive organizational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to understand workforce analytics needs and reporting requirements
  • Translate business needs into impactful Workday dashboards and reports
  • Configure and maintain:
  • Advanced and Matrix Reports
  • Discovery Boards
  • Workday Prism Analytics
  • People Analytics Tools
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across reporting solutions
  • Collaborate with HR Technology and IT teams to support system enhancements
  • Establish and maintain reporting standards and governance practices
  • Centralize workforce metric definitions with HR partners
  • Partner with HR, Legal, and Data Privacy teams to uphold data security standards
  • Provide end‑user training and troubleshoot reporting and dashboard issues
  • Mentor team members on reporting best practices and continuous improvement initiatives
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience configuring:
  • Workday Reporting
  • Discovery Boards
  • Workday Prism Analytics
  • People Analytics
  • Experience translating business requirements into analytics solutions
  • Strong understanding of workforce data and reporting frameworks
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with additional analytics platforms such as:
  • Power BI
  • Tableau
  • Familiarity with full Workday HCM suite configuration
  • Project management experience managing multiple stakeholders
