** What You’ll Do
*** Partner closely with hiring managers to understand team needs, role requirements, and long-term talent priorities.
* Design and execute tailored recruiting strategies for technical, engineering, and corporate roles.
* Proactively source passive candidates through social platforms, networks, career sites, and industry channels.
* Conduct thoughtful pre-screening conversations to evaluate skills, experience, and organizational fit.
* Communicate Badger Meter’s employee value proposition and highlight what makes us a standout employer.
* Craft and extend offer letters to selected candidates.
* Lead or contribute to talent acquisition initiatives such as employer branding, process optimization, and candidate experience enhancements.
* Build strong, lasting relationships with candidates and hiring teams to ensure a smooth and engaging hiring journey.
* Stay current on industry trends, competitive intelligence, and market challenges to inform hiring strategies.
* Represent Badger Meter at career fairs, community events, and workforce development programs.
** What You Bring
*** Bachelor’s degree preferred
* 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition, ideally with a focus on technical or engineering recruitment
** Skills & Expertise
*** Advanced interviewing skills across phone, video, and structured formats
* Strong sourcing capabilities, including Linked In Recruiter and social platforms
* Proven ability to assess candidate experience, motivation, and cultural alignment
* Experience developing creative sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill roles
* Demonstrated success advising hiring managers throughout the full recruitment lifecycle
