Human Resources Generalist (Recruitment Focus)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1st shift
Pay Range (based on experience and qualifications): $70,000 - $85,000 per year.

Position Summary
The Human Resources Generalist with a focus on recruitment is responsible for supporting the full spectrum of HR functions, with a primary emphasis on talent acquisition. This role will lead end‑to‑end recruitment processes, while also supporting onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and HR initiatives that support a positive and productive workplace culture.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & talent acquisition (primary focus):
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
- Post job openings on internal and external platforms.
- Source, screen, and interview candidates to ensure a strong talent pipeline.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews, assessments, and feedback sessions.
- Manage applicant tracking systems and maintain accurate candidate records.
- Extend employment offers and coordinate all pre‑employment processes, including physical examinations, background checks, reference verifications, and other onboarding requirements.
- Conduct wage and compensation surveys to analyze market trends and ensure the organization offers competitive and equitable wage rates.
- Represent the company at job fairs and recruitment events.
General HR Support:
- Support employee relations by addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
- Maintain HRIS data and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Support performance management and employee engagement initiatives.
- Participate in HR projects and process improvements.
- Develop and conduct employee and management training on topics such as interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance reviews, FMLA, sexual harassment, etc.; serve as a back‑up for conducting new hire training and orientation.
- Create, maintain, and conduct employee surveys and exit interviews; analyze data to gauge employee satisfaction as well as trends or patterns; notify appropriate individuals and/or departments of applicable information.
- Assist with processing payroll in the absence of the primary payroll administrator.
- Comply with all quality, safety, and work rules and regulations.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
- Education level strongly preferred:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field. - 5+ years of HR experience, with at least 1 year focused on recruitment, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
- PHR/SHRM‑CP or SPHR/SHRM‑SCP certification preferred.
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems and HRIS platforms.
- Understanding of and ability to work with highly confidential information.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and other office machinery.
