Responsibilities & Duties:
- Support and lead recruitment efforts for hourly, shop-floor positions.
- Conduct initial candidate screenings and interviews.
- Assist with new-hire orientation and onboarding activities.
- Serve as a technical resource by addressing and resolving questions and issues related to the recruiting function.
- Create and post job openings on various job boards, internal platforms, and social media channels.
- Organize and maintain employee records by scanning and uploading new and existing documents into the electronic filing system.
- Assist the Human Resources department with additional HR-related functions and projects, as assigned.
- Manage and respond to departmental mail and correspondence.
- Follow and comply with all safety regulations and work rules and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
Requirements
Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; enrollment in related field of study at a 2 or 4 year college preferred.

- Ability to adapt to the needs of the organization and employees.

- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn about the organization's HRIS and talent management systems.
- Occasionally lift or move up to 15 pounds.
- Sedentary work, sitting for extended periods of time.
- Staring at a screen for an extended period.
- Repetitive fine motor movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists performing tasks such as typing, writing, and moving computer mouse.
The position is an office-based position with a quiet and climate-controlled environment. However, the employee occasionally works on the production floor where the noise level is usually loud and not climate controlled.?
