Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Payroll Manager located in Oak Creek, WI. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Manager to oversee and manage our organization's payroll operations. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee compensation, benefits, and deductions according to established policies and legal regulations. You will play a key part in maintaining payroll systems, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, and providing excellent service to our employees regarding payroll inquiries.
Your strong analytical skills and attention to detail will ensure that payroll is processed without errors, while your ability to manage multiple priorities will be vital in meeting tight deadlines. You will work closely with various departments, including Human Resources and Finance, to ensure that payroll aligns with organizational goals and employee expectations. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of payroll systems and labor laws, as well as exceptional communication skills to navigate employee concerns and queries.

- Oversee the complete payroll processing cycle, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Manage payroll staff and provide training, support, and development opportunities
- Ensure that all payroll transactions are processed efficiently and accurately
- Compile and analyze payroll data to create reports for management, regulatory compliance, and annual audits
- Monitor and implement changes in regulations and company policies related to payroll
- Coordinate with HR to ensure accurate employee records and benefit deductions are maintained
- Respond promptly to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues and concerns
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll management or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of payroll software and systems, such as ADP
- Expertise in federal, state, and local payroll regulations and compliance
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret payroll data and reports
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with employees and management
