The Human Resource Generalist plays a crucial role in providing a vital point of contact for team members at all levels of an organization. The HR Generalist will assist with supporting daily operations, answers team member questions, manages team member records, and is a backup to the payroll specialist.
The Blueprint for Success- Key Responsibilities:
- Verifies accuracy and processes onboarding paperwork and compliance with company policy.
- Accurately input and maintain team member data within the HRIS and vendor systems to ensure data integrity, payroll accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
- Serve as a reliable source of information for team members, promptly answering questions and guidance to team members and management.
- Ensure that our company remains in compliance with laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with all functions in the organization to ensure results driven culture.
- Assist with recruiting tasks such as reviewing resumes, conducting and scheduling interviews, hiring, and following up with candidates.
- Schedule and coordinate onboarding assignments and training sessions.
- Compile and properly possess team member documentation and records, and update databases in a timely manner.
- Create and distribute internal communications regarding status changes, benefits, or company policies.
- Assist with processing investigations and disciplinary actions.
- Maintain the departmental email accounts timely, responding to all team member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist with tracking team member attendance, PTO, FMLA, Workcomp and documentation.
- Serve as a full-cycle payroll backup, performing periodic processing to stay current on system changes and ensuring accurate regular, off-cycle, and corrective runs during coverage periods.
- Manage the administration of payroll-related notices, including child support and garnishments, ensuring all statutory requirements are executed accurately and within required timelines.
- Perform select payroll audit functions when not processing payroll.
- Assist with HRIS entity implementations, including integration testing, certified payroll reporting, and state/federal wage compliance.
- Ensure that our company adheres to a safe work environment.
- Assist in creating best practices for the organization.
- Additional duties assigned as needed.

Tools for the Job:Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or related field. Two plus years of experience in a Human Resources role.
- Possess strong bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills, both written and verbal, to support employee relations and payroll inquiries across the organization.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in administrative duties such as communications, data entry, and record keeping.
- Enthusiasm for working within a team environment.
- Tact and professionalism working in handling confidential information and addressing team member concerns.
- Proficiency with technology, and the ability to learn and listen.
