Benefits Specialist, Employee & Retiree Experience
As the Benefits Specialist, Employee & Retiree Experience, you will support the management of our US, Puerto Rico, and Mexico health and wellness, and retirement plans and programs. You will serve as the point of contact for employees, candidates, and retirees requiring support with our retirement and health benefit programs.
You will report to our Manager, US Retirement Plans.
New Hire and Retiree Benefits Experience
- Be the contact for employee/candidate benefit inquiries that require specialized research, cross-functional coordination, or resolution of non-routine issues related to health, welfare, and retirement programs.
- Develop and deliver onboarding resources, presentations, and communications that educate employees on available benefit offerings.
- Support new hire benefits enrollment activities and coordinate with vendors to resolve employee questions and issues.
- Monitor and improve the new hire benefits experience through feedback, trend analysis, and process enhancements.
- Be an important contact for employees transitioning to retirement and for retirees requiring support with retirement and health benefit programs.
- Provide education and guidance on pension, 401(k), retiree medical, and other post-employment benefit programs.
- Coordinate retiree communications and support retirement transition processes.
- Work with vendors and internal partners to address retiree inquiries and ensure a seamless retirement experience.
- Support retirement-related projects, communications, audits, and compliance activities.
- Support administration of U.S. and Puerto Rico retirement programs including 401(k), pension, and nonqualified retirement plans.
- Help with non-elective contribution processes.
- Help with annual compliance reporting, audits, and documentation.
- Support retirement program communications, plan changes, and vendor management.
- Maintain plan records, documentation, and SharePoint resources following company retention policies.
- Support administration of health, welfare, and well-being benefit programs.
- Help with vendor oversight and coordinate operational activities with third-party administrators and benefit partners.
- Support implementation of new benefit programs and plan design enhancements.
- Analyze program use trends and provide recommendations to improve employee engagement and program effectiveness.
- Support annual enrollment planning, testing, communications, and execution.
- Help with benefits renewals, surveys, and ongoing vendor management activities.
- Maintain benefits-related SharePoint resources and documentation.
- Develop and maintain employee-focused benefits communications, educational materials, and resources
- Ensure communications are accurate, compliant, engaging, and aligned with company branding standards.
- Lead and manage the Benefits Department communications calendar, ensuring delivery of important benefit communications.
- Support retiree and new hire communication strategies.
- Help update Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs), legal notices, and other participant materials.
- Oversee a centralized regulatory compliance calendar, tracking deadlines, completion status, and vendor support requirements.
- Help ensure benefit programs remain compliant with ERISA, HIPAA, IRS, Department of Labor, and other applicable regulations.
- Identify and implement technology and AI-driven solutions to improve benefits administration processes, employee experience, operational efficiency and reporting dashboards.
- Monitor benefit data integrations and eligibility processes between Rockwell Automation and benefit vendors.
- Support mergers, acquisitions, and organizational changes affecting benefit programs.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure handling of sensitive employee information.
- You Will Have:
- Bachelor's degree

- You Might Also Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources or related discipline
- 3+ years of experience in employee benefits, retirement plans, health and welfare administration, HR operations, or related fields.
- Fluency with Spanish
- Demonstrated experience supporting employees, retirees, or customer service functions.
- Knowledge of retirement plans, health and welfare programs, and applicable benefits regulations.
- Project management skills with experience leading complex projects.
- Experience using AI-enabled technologies to enhance communications, data analysis, process improvement, or employee service delivery.
- Experience with Workday, SharePoint, and benefits administration platforms.
- CEBS, CBP, or related benefits certification.
