Summary:
The Manager, Human Resources supports company wide or specific state/region Human Resources initiatives in order to achieve business strategy and long- and short-term objectives. This role provides support and partners with assigned business leaders.
Job Responsibilities:- Proactively supports the delivery and implementation of HR processes for Sales and Operations client groups in collaboration with the Management and HR teams.
- Supports the internal talent acquisition process.
- Conducts new-employee orientations; monitors career-path program and employee relations counseling; conducts exit interviews.
- Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.
- Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
- Evaluates reports, decisions, and results of department initiatives in relation to established goals.
- Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor, may also be required.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experience
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience as HR business partner and/or HR generalist
- Advanced PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation software
- Must be a results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines
- Analytic and Reporting skills
- Utilize sound judgement and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume, team environment
- PHR or SPHR certification
- Prior experience with Labor Relations
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone
- May help coordinate the work of junior members of the team.
- Resolves issues which are often varied and non-routine.
- Undertakes analysis and investigation to solve issues.
