Senior Server Administrator

Schedule: Full-time, standard business hours

Work Model: Hybrid (onsite during initial onboarding, then 2 days onsite per week)

Our client is seeking a Senior Server Administrator to support and enhance enterprise server, network, and infrastructure environments across multiple sites. This is a hands-on role combining operations, project work, and strategic support to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable IT services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain, monitor, patch, and document server and network infrastructure
• Lead and support infrastructure upgrades and IT improvement projects
• Configure and manage wired/wireless networks, firewalls, and perimeter security
• Administer Active Directory, M365, DNS, DHCP, and virtualization platforms
• Manage backups, disaster recovery, and system integrity
• Partner with vendors, service providers, and internal stakeholders
• Support monitoring, endpoint management, and security solutions
• Participate in rotating on-call support

Required Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in a technical field (Bachelor’s preferred)
• 5+ years of experience in server, systems, or network administration
• Strong experience with Windows Active Directory and Microsoft environments
• Hands-on experience with network infrastructure, routing, switching, and firewalls
• Experience managing virtualized environments and backup solutions
• Solid scripting experience (Power Shell preferred)
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and lead initiatives

• VOIP and wireless networking
• Enterprise monitoring and endpoint management tools
