An opportunity has come through our network for a highly skilled Technology Consultant with deep expertise in Oracle Fusion Applications, especially in the Oracle Financials modules, and a strong technical background in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC). This permanent position, based onsite in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is an excellent opportunity for a professional who will have hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud integration patterns, BI Publisher reporting, and the ability to seamlessly interface between cloud and on-premises environments.
This role requires a unique blend of strong functional and technical knowledge to drive the implementation, support, and innovation of Oracle Cloud technologies.
Driving Innovation with Oracle Fusion Applications
As a Global Oracle Consultant, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and implementing solutions that leverage the full power of the Oracle Cloud ecosystem. Your work will directly impact financial processes and business operations, bridging the gap between on-premises systems and cutting-edge cloud solutions.
- Design, Develop, and Implement Solutions with Oracle Fusion Financials: You will be responsible for meticulously designing, developing, and implementing solutions using Oracle Fusion Applications, with a specific focus on the Financials modules. This includes a deep engagement with key financial processes such as Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Fixed Assets (FA), and Cash Management (CM). Your expertise will ensure that financial operations are streamlined, efficient, and aligned with modern best practices within the Oracle Cloud.
- Develop and Manage Integrations Using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC): You will be instrumental in developing and managing complex integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC). This involves designing integration flows, configuring various adapters (e.g., REST, SOAP, FTP, ERP, HCM) for different use cases, and implementing multiple OIC design patterns such as App Driven, Scheduled, and File-based integrations. You will also manage connection setup and troubleshoot integration issues to ensure seamless data flow between systems.
- Support Integration of On-Premises and Oracle Cloud Solutions: You will play a crucial role in supporting the integration of on-premises applications with Oracle Cloud solutions using OIC. This requires a strong understanding of hybrid cloud architecture, secure connectivity methods, and data transformation techniques to ensure that legacy systems can communicate effectively and securely with modern cloud platforms.
- Create and Customize BI Publisher Reports: You will be responsible for creating and customizing BI Publisher reports within Oracle Fusion. This includes designing report layouts, building and managing data models, and customizing existing reports to meet specific business requirements for financial reporting and analytics. You will also manage report security and access control to ensure that sensitive data is viewed only by authorized personnel.
- Leverage Oracle Fusion Technologies to Streamline Business Processes: You will proactively leverage Oracle Fusion technologies to implement best practices and streamline business processes. This involves analyzing existing operational workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending how Oracle Fusion capabilities can be utilized to automate tasks, improve data accuracy, and enhance overall productivity across business units.
- Analyze Business Requirements and Map to Fusion Capabilities: You will be skilled at meticulously analyzing business requirements and mapping them to Oracle Fusion capabilities. This requires a blend of functional and technical knowledge, translating stakeholder needs into actionable technical specifications and configurations. Your precision ensures that the delivered solutions are a perfect fit for business objectives.
- Participate in Full Lifecycle Oracle Fusion Implementations: You will play an active part in full lifecycle Oracle Fusion implementations. This includes participating in the initial configuration phase, conducting thorough testing, delivering comprehensive training to end-users, and providing vital post-go-live support to ensure a smooth transition and successful adoption of new solutions across the organization.
- Collaborate to Resolve Integration or Application Issues: You will work in close collaboration with technical and functional teams to swiftly resolve integration or application issues. This involves diagnosing problems, performing root cause analysis, and working with diverse teams to implement effective solutions, ensuring the continuous stability and reliability of the Oracle environment.
