The PositionThe Salesforce Administrator / Business Analyst serves as a strategic partner between business stakeholders and technical solutions, ensuring Salesforce effectively supports organizational goals. This role is responsible for administering, configuring, and optimizing the Salesforce platform while also gathering, analyzing, and translating business requirements into scalable, user-centered solutions. The ideal candidate combines strong Salesforce administration expertise with business analysis skills, including elicitation requirements, process mapping, and data-driven decision-making.
This position works cross-functionally to improve workflows, enhance system adoption, maintain data integrity, and deliver continuous platform improvements that drive operational efficiency and business value.
The salary range for this role is $80,297-$100,371 annually. Any extended offer is based on the candidate s experience and overall fit for the role.
Responsibilities- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the Salesforce platform, translating requirements into scalable, user-centric solutions
- Lead discovery sessions to document current-state and future-state processes, identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and automation opportunities
- Configure and maintain Salesforce using declarative tools (Flows, validation rules, page layouts, permissions, reports, dashboards)
- Write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation to support development and release planning
- Partner with Product Owners, Revision Ops, and technical teams to prioritize enhancements aligned to business outcomes and data governance standards
- Monitor system health, data quality, and user adoption; proactively recommend improvements based on usage and performance insights
- Support change management through training, release communications, and ongoing user enablement to drive adoption and value realization
- Design and maintain logical data models, field usage standards, and naming conventions to ensure data consistency and reporting integrity
- Analyze end-to-end workflows across Sales, Service, and Operations to identify root causes of friction and recommend measurable process improvements
- Manage intake, triage, and prioritization of enhancement requests using an agile or Kanban-style backlog process
- Support integrations and data flows between Salesforce and upstream/downstream systems by defining requirements, validating data mappings, and assisting with testing
- Partner in release management activities including sandbox strategy, UAT coordination, deployment validation, and post-release issue resolution
- Creating user accounts, assigning permissions, permissions sets and support of our various integrations within Salesforce
- Training of staff on the effective use of Salesforce and Salesforce products
- Ensuring optimal performance of Salesforce systems and products
- Upgrading and configuring Salesforce systems for optimized integration
- Managing Salesforce roles, profiles, sharing rules, workflows, and groups
- Importing accounts, contacts, leads, and other data
- Maintaining the sales/service cloud, as well as building custom reports and dashboards
- Performing database maintenance tasks, including diagnostic tests and duplicate entry cleansing
- Evaluating and installing new Salesforce releases, as well as providing training and support
- Documenting processes, including error reports and changes to field history tables
- Preparing reports and dashboards for other departments
- Adheres to ASQ

A bachelor s degree in information technology or similar field; 4 years of experience with administration and maintenance of Salesforce systems or equivalent combination. Salesforce certified administrator or Salesforce advanced administrator certification preferred.
Working ConditionsHybrid Office Environment with Tuesdays & Wednesdays in office at the Milwaukee Headquarters location.
