Position: Automation Solutions Engineer/ Power Platform Developer
* Develop Power Apps and Power Automate solutions that meet business     requirements and remain flexible and agile to work with similar software     running on different platforms.
* Connect data from different sources such as but not limited to Oracle, Maria

DB, Amazon Red Shift, Microsoft Dataverse, and SharePoint.
* Design, implement, test, troubleshoot and maintain complex business logic and workflows using Power Automate or similar software.
* Communicate with nontechnical business users to translate process requests into specific business requirements that will be used to implement the required automations and business intelligence solutions.
* Create and maintain technical documentation for Power Automate flows or similar software as needed.
* Detail-oriented mindset and ability to troubleshoot data integrity issues
* Ability to manage multiple priorities, and assess and adjust quickly to changing priorities as communicated by The Office of Research and The Graduate School
* Job Responsibilities Serves as technical lead for one or more aspects of the system
* Analyzes requirements and communicates and coordinates with staff and internal stakeholders related to the system and/or project
* Develops, programs, and/or deploys automation workflows for deployment, configuration, and/or monitoring of systems/services
* Manages, maintains, selects, and develops automation tools and infrastructure, including security configurations
* Performs integration, migration, configuration, and security of existing     applications and services into automated infrastructures in collaboration with other campus units such as IT, HR, and finance as needed.
* Serves as a subject matter expert to internal stakeholders, providing guidance and training to staff
* Knowledge of JSON, Power Shell, VBScript.
* Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative
* Strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities
* Programming / scripting experience and knowledge of software development
* Effective Project Management experience
* Experience with developing dashboards in Microsoft Power BI or similar platforms
* Demonstrated experience developing solutions using the Power Apps and Power Automate
* Experience across the entire platform, Power Apps Canvas, Model Driven Apps, Power Automate flows
* Experience designing business processes and integrations between Microsoft and other applications.
* Experience with SQL
* Experience with Azure cloud services.
* Experience with Azure Dev Ops Extensive experience using Power BI and Power Apps
* Experience with Power Automate
* Experience with M, DAX and SQL.
* Experience with ETL design, analytics and reporting
* Experience with developing and using data models
* Knowledge of RESTful APIs
* Experience with data development and reporting tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Oracle BI
* Experience with design, development and support of easy-to-understand data visualizations
* Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
* Familiarization with data and query optimization, query profiling, and query performance monitoring tools and techniques.
* Excellent interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to communicate complex concepts and requirements to data requesters and consumers
