10 is currently seeking a Microsoft 365 Security Analyst (Purview/DLP) for a contract opportunity with a major Financial Services company located in Milwaukee, WI.
Compensation: $44.00 per hour, depending on skill and experience level.
This role will assist the Cybersecurity Engineering team in enabling and optimizing security and compliance controls for Copilot for Microsoft 365. The ideal candidate will have a developer mindset, always searching for automation opportunities, and will also support operational tasks in Email and SaaS security.
Responsibilities- Assist with readiness assessments for Microsoft Purview Information Protection, DLP, eDiscovery, Insider Risk, Communication Compliance, and related SharePoint/Teams governance
- Assist in developing processes to address security configuration gaps with an eye towards continuous improvement and automated secure-by-default guardrails
- Perform independent research, analysis, and solution development and validation
- Work closely with multiple stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve service incidents, integration issues, and technology disruptions for the team's security solutions
- Provide detailed documentation to ensure transfer of knowledge to the client's team
- 2-5 years of experience in information technology with a familiarity with cybersecurity
- 1-2 years hands‑on with Microsoft 365 security/compliance features
- Familiarity with Microsoft Purview concepts such as DLP, sensitivity labels, retention, and audit
- Experience with development and scripting languages such as Python or Power Shell
- Experience with Email and SaaS Security
- Ability to quickly learn unfamiliar/new products and technologies
- Team player who is also able to work well independently and be a self‑directed contributor
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deal with ambiguity
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced education in information systems, software engineering, computer science, systems engineering, or cybersecurity
- Experience in multiple platforms and environments - Windows, Mac, & Linux, workstation & server, physical, virtual, & cloud
- Understanding of a wide range of cybersecurity capabilities, including security engineering, identity & access management, incident response, logging & monitoring, penetration testing, and vulnerability management
- Working knowledge of Security Frameworks (NIST, MITRE, CIS Benchmarks, etc.)
- Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis
