Infrastructure Engineering - Advisor II

Duties:
- Lead the design and implementation of infrastructure architecture that supports scalable, resilient, and efficient operations.
- Develop and execute an automation strategy to streamline infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles to automate deployment and management of resources, creating and maintaining code and tools for repetitive tasks.
- Collaborate with cyber‑security and operations teams to integrate automation solutions into security protocols and operational workflows.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement optimizations to enhance service availability.
- Provide visibility and protection for operations teams, ensuring they can manage and respond to infrastructure issues efficiently.
- Ensure that automation practices adhere to security and compliance standards and incorporate best practices into the automation framework.
- Develop and maintain documentation for automation processes, architectures, and procedures.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members and stakeholders on automation tools, practices, and architecture.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in a role involving Service Now development and architecture.
- 4+ years of experience with infrastructure automation programming languages, including Python and Power Shell.
- 4+ years in AWS Cloud infrastructure engineering and architecture.
- 3+ years architecting and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
- 3+ years designing and building APIs using REST, SOAP, or Graph
QL. - 3+ years implementing APIs with Python or JavaScript.
