Apps Senior Architect – Lumen Data Center Exit (Contract, 10-14 Years)

The Applications Senior Architect will lead the end-to-end application architecture, dependency mapping, and migration strategy for the Lumen Data Center Exit, covering environments hosted in Baxtel CH3 (Chicago) and DC3 (Virginia). This role is accountable for defining the application disposition strategy (6R), integration mapping, data flow architecture, and wave-based migration approach, ensuring seamless separation, minimal business disruption, and successful TSA exit aligned to cloud‑first transformation objectives.

• Design end‑to‑end application architecture and dependency mapping for the Data Center Exit.
• Define application disposition strategy using the 6R model.
• Create integration mapping and data flow architecture.
• Develop wave‑based migration plans to ensure seamless separation and minimal business disruption.

• 10 to 14 years of experience in application architecture and modernization.
• Strong knowledge of APIS, IAM, data migration, batch processing, and middleware.
• Expertise in cloud‑native architecture, microservices, and enterprise application architecture.
• Experience with 6R model, legacy application migration, and TSA exit programs.
• Proficiency in TOGAF, ASR, RVTools, and migration wave planning.
