Job Description
A premier local Client is actively seeking an experienced Service Now Administrator to join their thriving team. This position is vital to the organization, requiring a unique skill set of Service Now deployment, implementation, and integration capabilities along with relevant certifications and training.
Your role will involve major responsibilities including the administration, configuration, and maintenance of the Service Now platform. Reporting to the Information Technology Operations Manager, you will be crucial to enhancing IT service management capabilities while working on various Service Now components.

Key Responsibilities:
- Administer, configure, and maintain the Service Now platform.
- Manage Service Now components such as Incident, Problem, Change Management, Asset Management, Customer Service, Project Management, and others.
- Drive effective integration of Service Now with other operational systems.
- Conduct regular audits and monitor platform licensing.
- Develop and maintain system workflows, scripts, business rules, and UI policies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and implement Service Now solutions.
- Support third‑party software integrations, monitoring system performance, and troubleshooting issues.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end‑users and IT staff.
- Participate in an after‑hours support On Call rotation.
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors and assign tasks.
- Support the IT team with all technical matters including conducting maintenance events and preparing reports.

Qualifications and Skills:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum of four years of related work experience.
- Proficiency in Office 365 applications.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrable experience with Service Now platform.
Preferred Candidates will have:
- Experience with Service Now scripting and development.
- Familiarity with ITIL and IT service management best practices.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, XML, CSS, .NET, and AJAX.
- Experience in strategic planning and business process analysis.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot technical problems.
