Quality Assurance Test Team Lead

Overview

Associated Bank is seeking a QA Team Lead to guide a team of QA professionals and help deliver high-quality technology solutions across the organization. In this role, you will lead testing strategy, allocate resources, and partner with project teams to ensure successful delivery on time and within budget. • Manage and mentor a team of QA Analysts, supporting professional development, coaching, and performance management.
• Develop and drive testing strategies that align with QA Center of Excellence standards and project goals.
• Allocate QA resources across projects to ensure testing timelines and quality expectations are met.
• Partner with QA Leads, IT teams, and business stakeholders to support successful project delivery.
• Monitor project risks, testing progress, and budget impacts, taking action to resolve issues proactively.
• Identify opportunities for test automation and collaborate with Automation QA teams to improve efficiency.
• Maintain accurate defect tracking and communicate testing results to project teams and leadership.
• Ensure testing activities comply with regulatory requirements, risk standards, and internal policies.

• Associate Degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 6+ years of experience in software quality assurance and test management practices.
• Experience leading or mentoring QA professionals and supporting team development.
• Strong knowledge of Jira, Xray, and software testing methodologies.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.

• 6+ years of experience managing QA teams in a banking or financial services environment.
• Advanced experience with Atlassian Confluence, Jira, and Xray tools.
• Experience supporting system integration and regulatory compliance testing.
• ISTQB CTAL-TM certification or equivalent certification.
