DigitalMarketing Intern – Responsibilities
As our Digital Marketing Intern, you’ll be a hands‑on contributor to real client work from day one. You’ll support our team across social, email, web, and content—learning the levers that drive results for brands and helping us pull them. This is an ideal fit for someone early in their marketing career who wants to build a broad, practical skill set inside a fast-moving agency, and who’s energized by figuring things out and making an impact.
SocialMedia
- Support social media planning and content calendar development across client accounts
- Develop on‑brand content—graphics, captions, short‑form video concepts, and copy
- Schedule, organize, and manage content within a social media management platform/CRM
- Handle community management: monitoring channels, responding to comments and messages, and flagging opportunities
- Analyze data and build social media performance reports
- Help plan and build email campaigns and flows
- Execute sends and support list management within platforms like Klaviyo, Mailchimp, and Hub Spot
- Make website updates and content edits across CMS platforms like Word Press and Shopify
- Support landing page builds, product updates, and routine site maintenance
- Keep client work moving by managing tasks, timelines, and updates in Trello
- Communicate clearly with internal team members and contribute to keeping deliverables on track
- Pitch in wherever the team needs an extra set of hands
- Experience developing social media content (organic content, graphics, copy, and/or short‑form video)
- Working knowledge of email marketing and the platforms behind it (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Hub Spot, or similar)
- Familiarity with website CMS platforms like Word Press and Shopify
- Excellent project management and organizational skills—keep details from slipping
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A curious mind: you want to learn more, ask good questions, and find ways to contribute to client success
- Reliability and the ability to work on‑site in our Third Ward office
- Compensation: Paid, hourly
- Hours: Part‑time, up to 25 hours per week
- Location: In‑office at our space in Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward (161 S. 1st St., Suite 210). This role requires regular in‑person time with the team.
