Position: PC Specialist I

Do you have a customer service mindset, and a passion for technology? We are looking for a person with experience in supporting Microsoft Office, proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, and who is willing to learn and take a proactive approach with resolving both hardware and software issues. This position will help you to gain valuable experience that will prepare you for a career in IT.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Respond to Help Desk calls and emails, log user inquiries and solutions into the ticketing system and update as needed
  • Primary Support for Microsoft Office Suite
  • Assist with running Windows updates
  • Imaging of desktops and laptops
  • Provide mobile device support (Apple and Android phones)
  • Install, move, and maintain all PC’s and other computer equipment
  • Review weekly Help Desk calls to ensure that outstanding Help Desk issues dispatched to this position are resolved in a timely manner
  • Assist with the setup and troubleshooting of conferences
  • Familiarize yourself with and understand standard concepts, practices and procedures identified through software training
  • Attend product education session on currently used products and keep up with new products within the industry
  • Attend necessary internal training sessions as requested
  • Transportation required for periodic travel to all Godfrey & Kahn offices
QUALIFICATIONS AND

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Associate Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a customer service mindset
  • Proven ability of problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks with competing deadlines
  • Strong technology skills including proficiency in Microsoft operating systems and Office Suite
  • IT Help Desk experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel to other offices as needed during peak times
