Do you have a customer service mindset, and a passion for technology? We are looking for a person with experience in supporting Microsoft Office, proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, and who is willing to learn and take a proactive approach with resolving both hardware and software issues. This position will help you to gain valuable experience that will prepare you for a career in IT.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Respond to Help Desk calls and emails, log user inquiries and solutions into the ticketing system and update as needed
- Primary Support for Microsoft Office Suite
- Assist with running Windows updates
- Imaging of desktops and laptops
- Provide mobile device support (Apple and Android phones)
- Install, move, and maintain all PC’s and other computer equipment
- Review weekly Help Desk calls to ensure that outstanding Help Desk issues dispatched to this position are resolved in a timely manner
- Assist with the setup and troubleshooting of conferences
- Familiarize yourself with and understand standard concepts, practices and procedures identified through software training
- Attend product education session on currently used products and keep up with new products within the industry
- Attend necessary internal training sessions as requested
- Transportation required for periodic travel to all Godfrey & Kahn offices
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a customer service mindset
- Proven ability of problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks with competing deadlines
- Strong technology skills including proficiency in Microsoft operating systems and Office Suite
- IT Help Desk experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel to other offices as needed during peak times
