DescriptionThe Project Manager/Analyst manages key projects within the Global Medical Affairs Governance and Training Excellence department. Project management responsibilities include coordination and completion of projects in a specified time range and within scope. The individual will oversee the design of core training curriculum by analyzing multiple data sources to identify current curricula and assist in the development of best‑in‑class Medical Affairs Training Curriculum.
This incumbent will interface with many different departments within BD and must be able to present ideas in a concise manner and have strong collaboration skills.
- Development of Global MA Training Curricula to support the Global MA plans, ensuring strategic collaboration with Business Units, MA leads, and countries to assess and incorporate training needs.
- Participate as an active member of the training workgroup and be a strategic thinker with the ability to solve complex problems and present innovative solutions.
- Contribute to the creation of an onboarding plan for Global Medical Affairs.
- Develop tools to measure the impact of medical training management functions for efficiency and effectiveness, and deliver subsequent plans to continuously expand and enhance global medical training offerings.
- Drive high performance, efficiency, and effectiveness by developing, refining, and improving benchmarks, best practices, and SOPs related to global medical training deliverables.
- Manage the daily Investigator Sponsored Study (ISS) process within Cyber Grants.
- Work closely with the Grant Administrator for BD External Funding.
- Identify and report inconsistencies with ISS policies and procedures.
- Develop content and creative ideas to drive awareness to the intranet medical affairs page.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office platforms – PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Comfortable working in Excel – VLOOKUP, INDEX and MATCH, SUMPRODUCT, etc.
- Excellent data analysis, reporting, and project management skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
- Proactive team player with flexibility and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and effectively with little oversight.
- Strong desire to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with high‑energy and mission‑driven colleagues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to build relationships.
- Willingness and ability to learn additional platforms to manage the business intranet page.
- Prior experience working with LMS, specifically C2C.
- Understanding of medical terminology, including basic job functions of those within MA.
- Reports to Sr. Director, Global Medical Governance and Medical Information.
- Indirect Reports:
Director, Medical Affairs Governance and Training Excellence.
