Senior Technical Analyst

Production / Control Specialist

CLA seeks an experienced Production / Control Specialist to join its Information Technology team in Charlotte at the Ballantyne office. The role supports live events and conference room technologies, providing Level2 support and overseeing operations of digital audiovisual systems.

• Support and facilitate live events and incoming event requests.
• Support AV, conference room technologies and media systems.
• Coordinate the set‑up and operation of audio‑visual equipment for all events.
• Understand audio, video, and system signal flow.
• Support Poly, Tri‑Caster, Crestron AV equipment, and room controls, including Microsoft Teams room devices.
• Independently oversee and run live events in a control room for auditorium settings.
• Provide on‑site Level2 support to end‑users, ensuring prompt and courteous technical assistance.
• Conduct live on‑demand assistance for instructors and staff.
• Perform preventive maintenance to keep all systems operating optimally before events.
• Conduct daily equipment checks and set‑ups of classroom and event space technology (laptops, projectors, TVs, presentation materials).
• Act as liaison between Learning team and technical teams.
• Manage a tier2 support operation for all conferences.
• Handle escalation and post‑event issue resolution.

• 5 years of relevant experience supporting end‑user hardware and software.
• 3–5 years of AV Production / Control room / Operator experience (preferred).
• Experience with large live audiences of up to 200 people (preferred).
• Flexibility to work after hours, weekends, and travel when required.
• Knowledge of computer hardware and peripherals.
• Proficiency with support ticketing systems (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Technical competencies – Vizrt/Tricaster, Midas M32, PTZ camera control, Biamp, Dante, Crestron.

Charlotte office (Ballantyne). Requires on‑site presence five days a week.
