IT Systems Security Administrator

Overview

We’re seeking an IT Systems Security Administrator who will play a key role in our cybersecurity operations while also contributing across a broad range of IT functions. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to stay hands-on with cyber tools and practices—but also enjoys supporting general IT operations, including desktop support, networking, cloud services, and hyperconverged infrastructure.

You’ll be part of a small, collaborative IT team where versatility and a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of cybersecurity policies and tools
• Assist with vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and incident response
• Monitor network activity and help safeguard against security threats
• Configure and support security tools such as firewalls and antivirus solutions
• Support patch management and system updates
• Collaborating on disaster recovery and business continuity planning
• Provide hands-on support for desktops, infrastructure, and cloud technologies
• Participating in cross-functional IT efforts as needed

Qualifications

• 3+ years of IT experience with meaningful involvement in cybersecurity
• Familiarity with firewalls, endpoint protection, and security monitoring tools
• Experience supporting desktop systems, networks, and virtualized environments
• Exposure to cloud services and hyperconverged infrastructure a plus
• Strong communication and troubleshooting skills
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, Network+, Microsoft, etc.) are helpful
