Role Description

Full‑time, on‑site Marketing Technology Engineer role based in Milwaukee, WI. Design, implement, and maintain marketing technology solutions that support data‑driven campaigns and customer engagement initiatives. Responsibilities include integrating marketing platforms (CRM, marketing automation, analytics, advertising tools), optimizing data flows and tracking, ensuring accurate reporting and attribution across channels, collaborating with marketing, analytics, and IT teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, troubleshooting system issues, continuously improving marketing technology performance, documenting processes, managing vendor or tool evaluations, and staying current on emerging martech trends to recommend enhancements.

Qualifications
  • Experience with marketing technology platforms and integrations such as CRM systems, marketing automation tools, customer data platforms, and analytics solutions.
  • Strong technical skills in data flows and implementation, including APIs, web tracking, tags, pixels, and basic database concepts.
  • Proficiency with web technologies used in marketing contexts: HTML, CSS, JavaScript for tracking and personalization, and tag management systems.
  • Ability to analyze marketing performance data, build or interpret dashboards, and translate technical insights into clear recommendations for marketing stakeholders.
  • Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams (marketing, IT, sales, analytics) to gather requirements and deliver reliable, scalable martech solutions.
  • Strong problem‑solving, troubleshooting, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and a focus on process improvement.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Familiarity with privacy, security, and data governance best practices in digital marketing is a plus.
  • Experience in a high‑growth or subscription‑based business environment is beneficial.
