Tech Services Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a cloud engineer to design, engineer, deploy and support services focused on unifying and controlling access to data across multiple sources to enable reporting tools such as PowerBI and AI tools such as Copilot. This position will also build services leveraging and supporting power tools such as PowerBI, Power Automate and others. These tools and services will be leveraged by other teams to support Allspring users and enable the development of additional capabilities, while the individual in this role will maintain ownership of the core services they deliver.

They will collaborate with peers across the Allspring technical community to ensure their services and technologies deliver value, are fit for purpose and use, secure, and compliant with all policy and regulatory requirements.

This position reports to the Manager of Tech User Services delivering services to the Allspring technical community. We currently operate in a hybrid working model, wherein you will be required to work in-office 4 days per week. Location(s):
Charlotte, NC, or Milwaukee, WI.

• Design, engineer, deploy and support services for the Allspring technical community. This position will focus on data unification and control leveraging technologies such as Fabric to enable reporting and AI queries across multiple data sources.
• Enable other teams to leverage your services for their own use or as components of other services. You will retain ownership and support responsibilities for your core services.
• Manage the Tech User Services incident and service request queues ensuring timely resolution/fulfillment of all tickets in accordance with defined SLAs together with the Tech User Services peers.
• Manage the Tech User Services on call schedule and respond as needed to escalated incidents including major incidents and crises. This is a 7x24 responsibility when on call.
• Comply with Change Management and Info Sec policies.

• 2+ years’ experience designing and supporting cloud based technical services in AWS, Azure, and M365.
• 2+ years leveraging data unification tools such as Fabric, Dataverse, etc.
• 2+ years leveraging power tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, etc.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
• Capacity to prioritize, complete, and resolve issues in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Power Platform Fundamentals
• Microsoft Certified:
  Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Base Pay Range: $125,000 - $150,000. Actual base salary may vary based on relevant experience, time in role, base salary internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary bonus programs, or other annual or non-annual incentive or sales plans).
