Overview:

We are seeking an experienced consultant to join our Digital Transformation team focused on auto dealerships. The role involves translating business requirements into Tekion DMS configurations, providing post‑go‑live support, and acting as a liaison between business stakeholders and the development team.
What you will do- Translate business requirements into Dealer Management System (DMS) configurations or enhancements.
- Act as the client’s point of contact during deployment and provide post‑go‑live support (hypercare).
- Work to understand business processes, propose improvements, and liaise between stakeholders and the development team.
- Provide product training to dealer staff across departments (sales, service, parts, accounting).
- Manage and execute test plan activities, including requirements‑based test plans and user acceptance testing.
- Support robust change‑management programs to increase adoption for clients.
- Partner with project managers to identify project risk and issues, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Participate in the development and deployment of implementation methodologies, trainings, and toolkits.
- Support sales cycles as a Subject Matter Expert and help build project approaches and proposals for new clients.
- Invest in professional development through firm‑wide learning programs.
- Support the growth and development of team members and clients through the Baker Tilly Care and Teach philosophy.
- Promote a healthy work‑life balance through friendships, social activities, and team outings.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, engineering, computer science, MIS or related field.
- Experience with auto dealership processes, terminology, and workflows (sales, service, parts, accounting).
- Minimum of one year of related Tekion or other DMS experience.
- Previous auto dealership industry and consulting experience.
- Tekion Certified Professional (TCP) qualification (highly preferred).
- Experience with automotive software or SaaS implementations.
- Strong management, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, project‑management, and communication skills.
- Excellent Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) skills.
- Ability to engage at both business and technical levels, provide exceptional client service, and demonstrate ethical commitment.
- Flexibility to travel to client sites as needed and work outside normal business hours.
- Ability to develop processes and methodologies, and exhibit a sense of urgency and commitment to quality.
- Effective multitasking across multiple projects and stakeholders.
- Ability to communicate with client resources from lower level to C suite.
- Possibility to travel up to 100 %.
Compensation: $85,910 to $162,890. Actual compensation depends on factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
