We are hiring a Sr IT Application Support Specialist in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, as part of our Information Technology team, reporting to the Sr. Mgr of Apps Support.

This role sits within our Platforms & Enterprise Technology organization and supports a mixed cloud environment spanning AWS, SAP RISE, and Azure. We deliver IT services through multiple managed service providers, so this position plays a key role in keeping critical business operations running smoothly.

* Bachelors degree in Information Technology or equivalent practical experience.
* At least 6 years of experience in IT, including 2-4 years in application operations, development, or delivery, and 1-2 years in service delivery roles.
* Experience supporting complex systems in an AWS cloud environment.
* AWS cloud certification is preferred.
* Substantial experience managing external service providers, along with technical expertise in application development and delivery.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Familiarity with solution delivery processes and the software development lifecycle is preferred.
* Experience with SAP and/or cloud-based application management is strongly preferred.
* Ability to thrive on challenge, handle complex work efficiently, and align actions with business priorities.

* Oversee third-party providers to ensure applications run effectively within a business unit, including monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on performance against SLAs.
* Ensure consistent compliance with agreed policies and procedures across all parties involved in service delivery.
* Respond to application outages and incidents, and drive proactive root-cause remediation plans.
* Follow established change control and release management practices when addressing issues and updates.
* Coordinate patching and maintenance efforts with environment management for the application portfolio.
* Partner with regional IT and business stakeholders to understand support needs and communicate on critical application issues.
* Serve as the primary escalation contact for IT service delivery concerns from the business and IT leadership.
* Ensure business impacts are identified, reviewed, and communicated to the appropriate leadership teams.
* Help manage, monitor, and prioritize enhancement requests, patches, and upgrades for business unit applications.
* Work with project teams and application transition management to ensure new services and projects are supportable in production and do not disrupt core business processes.
