Drive digital transformation in healthcare

Are you passionate about technology and eager to contribute to solutions that improve lives? As a participant in the Information Technology Development Program (ITDP), you’ll be part of a collaborative team focused on developing future leaders in digital technology. You’ll gain hands‑on experience, build technical and leadership skills, and contribute to projects that make a real‑world impact on healthcare delivery.

Each rotation offers a unique opportunity to explore different areas of IT, including:

  • Cybersecurity – Safeguard systems and data through risk management and threat detection
  • Data Analytics & Operations – Leverage data to drive insights and operational efficiency
  • Technical Product/Project Management – Lead cross‑functional teams to deliver innovative solutions
  • Artificial Intelligence – Apply machine learning and AI to enhance IT processes & systems
  • Application Development – Build and optimize software tools for internal & external use
  • IT Infrastructure & Architecture – Design and support scalable, secure technology environments

You’ll also benefit from structured training, mentorship, and leadership development to prepare you for a successful career at GE Health Care.

Basic Qualifications

  • You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Informatics, Data Science, or a related STEM field
  • Expected graduation date between December 2026 and May 2027
  • Experience applying technical and analytical skills through coursework, projects, or internships
  • Demonstrated leadership and teamwork in academic, extracurricular, or professional settings
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on collaboration and problem‑solving

Preferred Qualifications

We value a wide range of experiences—you may stand out if you have:

  • Prior internship, co‑op, or research experience in IT, software development, or data analytics
  • Strong academic performance demonstrated by a GPA of 3.0 or higher (on a 4.0 scale), though all applicants are encouraged to apply
  • Passion for a career in technology and healthcare
  • Experience working on teams or leading projects
  • Adaptability and resilience in dynamic environments
  • Openness to new ideas and perspectives
