Role Overview :

LTS engineer provides hands-on, onsite technical support for data centers, manufacturing/field sites, and office environments. This role ensures reliable operation of local infrastructure by performing physical hardware tasks, basic network support, asset handling, and break/fix activities that require a technician physically present.

The LTS Technician is a critical extension of the centralized IT teams, delivering the "hands and eyes" support required to maintain uptime, troubleshoot local issues, execute equipment installations, and ensure accurate IT asset tracking.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Data Center & Network Hardware Support:
Perform hands-on tasks including rack-and-stack, equipment mounting, cable tracing, cable replacement, labeling, and physical connectivity checks.

+ Provide onsite support for network hardware under engineer direction (e.g., switches, routers, access points).

+ Assist with physical troubleshooting of network issues (e.g., link failures, port issues, hardware resets).

+ Complete "remote-hands" tasks requested by Network Engineering, Infrastructure, or Operations teams.

+ Field Site & End User Hardware Support:
Support local devices such as workstations, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals.

+ Perform hardware installations, swaps, break/fix repairs, and workstation setup for new employees.

+ Troubleshoot basic application, device, and connectivity issues requiring onsite presence.

+ Coordinate with centralized teams to resolve escalated or complex issues.

+ Asset & Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate IT asset records in the asset management system (CMDB).

+ Perform inventory counts, lifecycle tracking, asset labeling, and equipment receiving/retirement.

+ Package, ship, or dispose of hardware following IT and compliance procedures.

+ Support hardware audits and control activities to maintain asset accuracy.

+ Onsite Operational Support:
Perform routine equipment health checks and verify the physical stat

This role is 100% onsite

Basic Qualifications:

+ Minimum 1 year of work experience.

+ Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience, onsite technical support for data centers, manufacturing field sites, and office environments.

+ High School Diploma / GED
