Associate Principal - Quality Engineering

Role Description Role Summary

The TDM Gen Rocket Engineer is responsible for designing, generating, provisioning and managing test data across multiple test environments using Gen Rocket and other TDM tools. The role supports functional integration, ETL, API performance and automation testing by ensuring timely availability of compliant, high-quality test data. The engineer works closely with Business Analysts, Developers, QA teams, Release Management and Environment Management teams to deliver fit-for-purpose test data solutions.

• Strong understanding of Test Data Management concepts
• Hands-on experience with Gen Rocket
• Analyse test data requirements from business and QA teams
• Create and maintain test data strategies, plans and provisioning processes
• Identify, acquire, mask, clone, refresh and provision test data
• Support data validation activities across SIT, UAT, Performance and Production-like environments
• Maintain test data repositories, catalogues and governance standards
• Ensure adherence to data privacy and compliance requirements

• Design and implement Gen Rocket projects, domains, attributes, generators, receivers and scenarios
• Develop GCases, GRules, GQueries and GQuestionnaires for synthetic data generation
• Configure domain relationships and referential integrity
• Generate large volumes of synthetic data for functional integration and performance testing
• Integrate Gen Rocket with CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks
• Troubleshoot data generation and provisioning issues

Variable Compensation:
This position includes a bonus or variable payout component based on individual and organizational performance. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, performance and internal equity.
