The Edge to Cloud Solution Architect will advise our large ensuers and OEMs across their OT and IT layers, Connected Enterprise and IIoT layers as part of a co-innovation program.

Help work on Microsoft IoT Operations, MS IoT Hub, MS AzureML, and others as required

Actively engage with customers on their Data-Repositorization (MS and 3rd Party)

Understand Rocksell Logix platform (Studio 5000 Logix Designer, Factory Talk Design Studio)

Understand and Use Factory Talk Optix (HMI / edge application platform)

Understand Factory Talk Data Mosaix (industrial data platform)

Contribute in configutations including Plex MES and Fiix CMMS (enterprise systems

You will report to the Director, Common Connected Applications and work in the US

• Build edge-to-cloud integrations using Data Mosaix, Plex, and Fiix
• Work with Microsoft solution engineers on
• Undetstand / Use custom APIs, microservices, and modern web applications
• Use Time-Series Databases and Data Visualization Tools
• Develop Requirements from the understanding of Manufacturing Systems
• Define architectures from Logix control layer to cloud
• Align control data models with enterprise and cloud solutions
• Apply cloud-native architectures
• Use OPC UA companion specifications where applicable
• Design data models using Smart Objects, FT Optix and FT Data Mosaix
• Integrate Logix, historian, and enterprise data
• Promote analytics and predictive use cases
• Understand / Integrate Industrial automation systems (PLC, HMI, SCADA)
• Advise on usage of Factory Talk Optix, Data Mosaix, Plex, and Fiix
• Translate complex architectures into solutions

• Bachelor's Degree in relevant field.

• Typically requires 8 years of related experience.
• JavaScript / Type Script / Python
• C# / .NET
• Microservices, APIs, container-based systems
• Technical and business writing
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git Lab)
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with a data warehouse like Snowflake, Red Hat Openshift, or Spark
• Understanding of InfluxDB / Grafana Dashboarding
• Understanding of MQTT/ Kafka Data Integration
