IBCC is seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused IT Systems Administrator to manage and support the organization's technology infrastructure. The IT Administrator will be responsible for maintaining hardware, software, networks, security systems, and end-user support while ensuring reliable and secure IT operations across the organization.

The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding service to internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities Infrastructure & Systems Administration
  • Administer and maintain servers, workstations, operating systems, and business applications.
  • Manage Microsoft 365 environments, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, One Drive, and user accounts.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure optimal availability, reliability, and security.
  • Configure and maintain Active Directory, Group Policies, and user permissions.
  • Install, update, and troubleshoot hardware and software systems.
Network Administration
  • Manage local and wide area networks, wireless networks, firewalls, switches, and VPN connectivity.
  • Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues.
  • Maintain network security protocols and documentation.
  • Coordinate with internet service providers and technology vendors as needed.
Cybersecurity & Compliance
  • Maintain and Continuously improve cybersecurity best practices.
  • Manage endpoint protection, email security, multi-factor authentication, and access controls.
  • Monitor security alerts and respond to potential threats or incidents.
End-User Support
  • Provide technical support to employees for hardware, software, connectivity, and application issues.
  • Respond to help desk tickets and troubleshoot technical problems in a timely manner.
  • Train users on technology tools, security awareness, and system procedures.
  • Document support activities and maintain knowledge base resources.
Data Management & Business Continuity
  • Manage system backups and disaster recovery processes.
  • Ensure data integrity, availability, and secure storage.
  • Test backup and recovery procedures regularly.
  • Support business continuity planning initiatives.
  • Manage IT inventory, licensing, warranties, and equipment lifecycle processes.
  • Evaluate and coordinate technology purchases and upgrades.
  • Work with external vendors to resolve service issues and implement new solutions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets and configurations.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in IT administration, systems administration, or technical support.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Windows environments.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and firewall management.
  • Experience with Active Directory and identity management.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Administrator, Azure Administrator).
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper‑V.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Knowledge of endpoint management tools and mobile device management (MDM).
