We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Tax Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This is a unique opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients on complex state tax controversy matters. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in providing tax planning and structuring advice, addressing remediation of state tax exposure for clients, and have experience with unclaimed property and escheatment matters.

- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a law firm or corporate legal department, with a focus on state and local tax matters.
- Experience in state tax controversy matters, including audits, appeals, and litigation.
- Proven track record of providing tax planning and structuring advice to clients.
- Experience in addressing remediation of state tax exposure for clients.
- Knowledge of and experience with unclaimed property and escheatment matters.
- Exceptional analytical, research, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Admitted to practice law in Wisconsin (WI) and in good standing.
