What will I do as an Immigration Attorney? Our attorneys provide legal counsel, referrals, representation, and assistance for those that society often sees as the “stranger” in our midst. We serve newcomers to the U.S. who are seeking to become citizens or reunify with family members living in the United States, individuals trying to secure asylum or temporary protection in the U.S., and immigrant victims of domestic violence.
Responsibilities- Engage in immigration legal practice, including client consultation and representation
- Conduct legal research as directed, and in accordance with the Rules of Professional Conduct
- Provide consultations on immigration issues and assess cases for appropriate legal services
- Provide referrals as needed
- Prepare inadmissibility waivers and asylum applications
- Represent clients before the USCIS
Salary: $65,000–$72,000 DOE

- Graduated from an accredited law school and hold a valid license to practice law in Wisconsin
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (required)
- Prior immigration law practice experience is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills; team player with a passion for developing others
